FENTO KNEE PROTECTION

The safety of its employees is of paramount importance at Jorritsma Bouw. Some time ago, the company initiated an independent study to find the best kneepads for its craftsmen, who often work on their knees. Among others, the FENTO MAX was extensively tested. The company recently decided to add this specific knee protector to its standard PPE.

Sustainable employment is very important for any company. Jorritsma Bouw also strives for a safe and pleasant working environment in which it is important that its employees not only remain fit and healthy during their employment, but are also able to enjoy a fit and healthy old age after employment.

“We take good care of our craftsmen. With a view to the sustainable employability of our craftsmen, we looked closely at our standard PPE. As of January 2022, we will include the FENTO MAX Knee Protectors in our standard PPE”. FENTO’s ergonomic kneepads distribute the correct pressure over the entire lower leg instead of just the knee. This prevents knee and back problems. The FENTO MAX is FENTO’s longest kneepad and was specially developed for intensive use. Due to its length, the pressure is distributed even better and offers even more protection. The latest models from FENTO have an improved fit that moulds to the shape of your own knee over time. “We have tested these kneepads extensively, in consultation with our safety expert Jan Smid, our company doctor and two craftsmen. We are convinced! We are therefore going to make sure that all our craftsmen receive a pair of FENTO MAX Knee Protector this month.”

EXTENSIVELY TESTED BY JORRITSMA BOUW CRAFTSMEN

Johan van der Veen, one of the aforementioned craftsmen at Jorritsma Bouw, has been testing the kneepads extensively over the last few months. “I have been using them for a few months now and I must say that I’m really very satisfied with them. I work a lot on my knees and normally you put your whole body weight on them, which is very bad for your knees, not to mention uncomfortable. These kneepads give you perfect support and distribute the pressure much better between your knees and shin. You notice that right away. And this is, of course. much better when it comes to preserving your knees. So the fact that they are now being added to the standard PPE? That’s really great!”
